Looking back on 2025, and what's to come in the year ahead

2025: A Year of pace and intention

As I step into 2026, I’ve taken a moment to reflect on the year that was and the direction Life in Still continues to move toward. 2025 was a year of steady growth, shaped by a slower, more intentional approach to every project I captured. Staying close to home, I focused on working with clients across the Illawarra, South Coast and Southern Highlands. It was a year defined not by volume, but by quality. My main focus which will stay with me through 2026, was to learn to the skill of being slow. It taught me to take in every moment, every space and every perfect stream of light in every shot. So, quality over quantity was definitely my motto of the year.

The work and the people

I had the privilege of working with both long-standing and new clients - celebrating the work of talented Builders, Architects, Interior Designers, Landscapers and Commercial Spaces across each shoot. Every project brought something so unique, and it continues to be so rewarding to document both the evolving work of clients who return year after year, and the very first projects of emerging businesses.

Watching my clients grow, evolve and succeed, and knowing I’ve played a small part in capturing that moment, is something I hold very close.

There were also some wins along the way in 2025, with some of my clients winning awards and featuring in publications.

Looking forward

Moving forward into 2026, I want the year ahead to continue to be shaped by thoughtful projects, genuine collaboration, and a pace that allows each space to be properly seen and felt.

I can't wait to see the work of my clients behind my lens, and to be able to celebrate their journey together. I am also looking forward to meeting new clients, and working alongside other businesses who align with Life in Still.

Lastly, I am looking forward to trying new things, and being pushed out of my comfort zone - I am so ready for the next big leap!

Thank you to each and every one of you who continue to support me! I appreciate you all.
